You may receive a platelet-rich plasma therapy injection (PRP) during your regenerative medicine appointments. This injection works to amplify the ability of your own blood cells to accelerate healing in a specific area. You may feel soreness at the injection site and feel inflammation in the area—which is what it’s meant to do.
The other regen medicine offered at Gulotta Chiropractic and Wellness Center is injecting human cellular tissue (HCT). The only possible symptom you may feel after this treatment is soreness around the injection site.
Both are applied to the patient with the same goal: rebuilding tissue to help promote healing and reduction in pain.
